Wolverhampton’s council is preparing to reveal details of the masterplan for its Brewers Yard redevelopment.
The council expects to submit an outline planning application late this month for the first phase of the scheme, following a public consultation on 14 March.
Brewers Yard is part of a wider masterplan being developed alongside Court Collaboration. Funding from the Towns Fund, West Midlands Combined Authority and the council will be used to move services and knock down buildings on Culwell Street so brownfield land can be remediated and made ready for close to 600 flats. The council hopes the scheme will expand to include 1,000 homes.
