Whitton’s Impact Capital plans first modular scheme
Robert Whitton’s Impact Capital has lodged plans for the first development in a £1bn modular housing drive.
The industry veteran teamed up with Quintain’s Nick Shattock to launch Impact Capital this year, targeting large regenerations and small smart neighbourhoods.
Impact Smart Homes has submitted plans for 56 modular homes in Sevenoaks, Kent.

The industry veteran teamed up with Quintain’s Nick Shattock to launch Impact Capital this year, targeting large regenerations and small smart neighbourhoods.
Impact Smart Homes has submitted plans for 56 modular homes in Sevenoaks, Kent.
The homes will be manufactured at Impact’s Petersborough factory and will be designed to be sustainable, with a 20-40% reduction in carbon footprint compared to traditional construction.
The scheme will also include charging points for electric cars, bicycle sheds and a landscaped private communal garden square.

“The development intends to offer a new approach to home life, one which is exemplary in terms of healthy, sustainable and inclusive living, as we collectively work towards our net zero carbon target for 2050.”
