WELPUT wins consent for Regents Wharf scheme

WELPUT has secured planning approval for its revised plans at Regents Wharf, N1. Its plans for a campus for the creative industries will provide around 149,306 sq ft of refurbished and new space for retail, office and restaurant uses at 10-18 All Saints Street in Islington. A previous scheme for the site was refused in January 2018 and an appeal subsequently dismissed by the planning inspector in a public inquiry held in June 2019. The planning inspector at the time said the case was being dismissed because of the impact of the proposals on the living conditions of nearby residents as a result of the proposed massing and height, as well as the impact on the area and locally listed buildings.
