Wates hires former Morgan Sindall Investments director

Wates Residential has hired Morgan Sindall Investments’ former director of partnerships, Andrew Savege, to the new role of head of partnerships. [caption id="attachment_1091712" align="alignright" width="300"] Andrew Savege[/caption] Savege left Morgan Sindall Investments last month after more than 16 and a half years at the company. He joined as a development manager and was later promoted to head of regeneration, then in 2018 became director of new partnerships. In this role he was responsible for public sector joint ventures. His departure follows other moves, with managing director Wes Erlam leaving to join Legal & General Capital earlier this year. At Wates Residential, Savege will play a role in bidding for new developments and maintaining partnerships with local authorities and housing associations. The Wates Group is working with Havering Council on the £1.2bn 12-estates regeneration in Romford, with other construction projects with Barking & Dagenham’s Be First and delivering Notting Hill Genesis’ Graeme Park.
