Vrensen joins AEW

Commercial property consultant Hans Vrensen has joined AEW as head of research for Europe. With a real estate career spanning more than 25 years, Vrensen was global head of research at DTZ from 2009 to 2015, spearheading projects including the Fair Value Index and the Great Wall of Money. During his time at DTZ he was also the GP director of DTZ Investment Management’s European fund of funds. Vrensen left the company last year to become a private consultant, working with Green Street Advisors and CREFC Europe, where he was a consultant director for research and education.
