In a year of political uncertainty, the South Coast market has managed to stay steady.
Following its merger with Hughes Ellard last year, Vail Williams has seen a blockbuster year of transactions, disposing more than 250,000 sq ft and taking the top position in this year’s Radius Data Exchange M27 Corridor office disposals league table. Lambert Smith Hampton stays safely in second despite disposing slightly less than last year.
Radius Data Exchange figures show that the total amount of space disposed was 467,398 sq ft, up by 24% from last year. The average deal size increased by 8% to 3,652 sq ft, helped by the fact that there were two transactions of more than 20,000 sq ft, compared with only one last year. Take-up increased by 15%, with 128 separate disposals, also up 15% on last year.
