Vail Williams has topped Radius Data Exchange’s M27 corridor office league table for a second consecutive year, despite the Covid-19 pandemic slowing down office transactions.
Market uncertainty and government recommendations for staff to work from home led to a decrease in deals, with 333,206 sq ft across 87 deals recorded this year, compared to 467,398 sq ft and 128 deals last year. The three largest deals all happened in the latter months of 2019. Vail Williams’ deals accounted for 42% of the total space taken.
The top four agents all held on to their spots from last year, with Lambert Smith Hampton runner-up to Vail Williams, CBRE in third place and Primmer Olds BAS in fourth. Apart from CBRE, these agents all posted notable decreases in space disposed year-on-year. Keygrove Chartered Surveyors is the only new company in the top five agents this year, climbing from 10th.
