US private equity firm set for new London HQ
Hellman & Friedman is to move its London headquarters to Paddington next year.
It is understood the San Francisco-based private equity firm has leased the two top floors at Derwent London’s Brunel Building, W2, totalling 20,500 sq ft.
Prime rents in the area are £70 per sq ft.

The private equity firm is currently based at Millbank Tower, SW1, where it has occupied the 7,600 sq ft penthouse floor since 2007.
The 243,000 sq ft Brunel Building is now 40% prelet following Sony Pictures taking 77,200 sq ft on the upper floors.
Construction of the 17-storey is due to complete in the first half of 2019.
The Premier League has also been in discussions over moving its London headquarters to the Paddington building, according to reports.
Cushman & Wakefield, Pilcher Hershman and CBRE are letting agents on the development.
