UK bosses more confident about economy

British employers have grown more confident about the economy.

The Recruitment and Employment Confederation said confidence in the economy rose by six points to a net level of -5 during the three months to January, standing at +1 for January alone.

Short-term hiring intentions were up by four points to +24, albeit with stronger demand for temporary workers over permanent workers.
