Trump’s finance chief stripped of directorships

The Trump Organization’s finance chief has been stripped of some of his directorships after he and the company were charged with tax fraud.

Allen Weisselberg was the director of several of the organisation’s subsidiaries, until he and the former president’s company were charged earlier this month in a 15-count indictment accusing them of carrying out a 16-year scheme to help executives avoid tax.

He will no longer be a director of the Trump International Golf Club in Aberdeenshire, Scotland, and has lost officer positions at Trump National Golf Club and Trump International Hotels Management.
