Cooper swaps Crest Nicholson for Travis Perkins

Crest Nicholson’s group finance director is leaving to take up the role of chief finance officer at Travis Perkins. Duncan Cooper, who joined Crest Nicholson in 2019, will take over the role from Alan Williams, who has announced he will be retiring in 2024. Prior to joining Crest Nicholson, Cooper spent eight years in finance roles at Sainsbury’s. Travis Perkins chief executive Nick Roberts said: “Duncan brings an ambitious drive with a strong track record of performance focus and rich cross-sector experience, having held senior leadership roles at Crest Nicholson and Sainsbury’s.” Crest Nicholson chief executive Peter Truscott praised Cooper for his “dedication, professionalism and contribution. “Duncan has played a critical role in the development and transformation of the business and leaves the group with our thanks and best wishes”. Cooper will receive an annual salary of £525,000 and will be eligible for annual incentive and restricted share plan awards.
