Town Centre Securities pays £9m for Empire House, Glasgow

Town Centre Securities has acquired Empire House at 27/59 Sauchiehall Street and 127/131 West Nile Street, Glasgow, from Bankers Trust Company for £9m. The deal represents a yield of 7.5%.

Empire House includes seven shop units totalling 1,403 sq m (15,100 sq ft) let to tenants including The Body Shop, Jeanster, Halifax and Laing the Jeweller, and 2,843 sq m (30,600 sq ft) of offices.

Gee & Co advised Town Centre Securities while Ryden represented Bankers Trust.
