Canadian coffee chain Tim Hortons is planning to expand its 65-site estate in the UK with a further 40 restaurants by the end of 2023.
The brand has already lined up site launches in Liverpool, Swansea and Dundee for the first quarter of the year. The 40 new restaurants will create 2,000 jobs.
The news comes as the chain prepares to open its 50th drive-thru location in Watford on 28 November. The impending launch means Tim Hortons will have doubled its drive-thru estate in the UK in one year, with four further drive-thru openings scheduled before the end of 2022.
