Tide files new plans for Bermondsey co-living scheme

Tide Construction has filed updated plans for a 1.3-acre site in Bermondsey, which it acquired from Wittington Investments.

The scheme, at 79-161 Ilderton Road, SE16, had consent for 615 co-living homes. It comprised 120 affordable homes, 65 of which were social rent and 55 intermediates. The plans included a 1,300 sq ft not-for-profit café, 4,000 sq ft of commercial space and 5,000 sq ft of business space.

Tide’s new plans filed with Southwark Council include 865 co-living homes, 186 of which are affordable homes and 100% of which will be social rent. Up to 60% will be two and three-bed homes.
