Teledata signs first letting at Taylor Woodrow’s No. 2 Cadogan Square, Glasgow

Taylor Woodrow Property has let No. 2 Cadogan Square – phase one of the redevelopment of the Anderston Centre in Glasgow – almost a year to the day after it placed the building on the market.

The developer has let the 2,891 sq m (31,120 sq ft) building to Teledata, a call centre subsidiary of Scottish Power currently based at Berkeley Street in Glasgow city centre. Teledata has signed a 10-year lease at the quoting rent of £107.64 per sq m (£10 per sq ft) with a one-year rent free period and a five year break.

Taylor Woodrow’s 9,959 sq m (107,000 sq ft) second phase is due for completion by 2002.

Jones Lang Wooton and DTZ Debenham Thorpe acted for Taylor Woodrow while Speirs Gumley represented Teledata.
