Taylor Wimpey on target to make £820m profit
Taylor Wimpey built 47% more homes last year than during 2020.
Chief executive Pete Redfern said that he expected to report full-year results in line with expectations, having “delivered an excellent performance in 2021”. Profits are expected to be £820m.
The housebuilder’s full results will be announced on 3 March.

In a trading update this morning, Taylor Wimpey said total home completions for the year were 14,087, up from 9,609, while average sales prices had risen by 3% to £332,000.
Its short-term landbank now stands at 85,000 plots, while its strategic land pipeline holds around 145,000.
Taylor Wimpey has £837m in the bank, up from 2020’s £719m.
