Starlight buys second Leeds BTR scheme

Starlight Investments has acquired a 300-home build-to-rent scheme from Torsion Group in Leeds. Currently under development, the scheme comprises two towers of 10 and 17 storeys with a mix of one‑, two- and three-bedroom flats and 63 underground car parking spaces. It will also have a gym, cinema and two rooftop terraces. The design also incorporates numerous sustainability elements. This property is Starlight’s second acquisition in Leeds this year and means Starlight UK now has more than 3,600 homes under management. Jonnie Milich, head of UK residential at Starlight Investments, said: “We are pleased to further strengthen Starlight’s presence in Leeds, one of the UK’s fastest-growing cities. ​“The acquisition of this exceptional build-to-rent community underscores our commitment to investing in the creation of high-quality rental housing in the UK.
