Stafford Rugby Club’s £80m regen scheme revealed

Godwin Developments has partnered with Lord Stafford to regenerate the former Stafford Rugby Club ground into an £80m mixed-use development. The 6.5-acre site, located in the Castlefields area, is part of the Stafford Station Gateway and owned by Lord Stafford. Plans include a food retail unit, a hotel, a multi-storey car park and a build-to-rent residential scheme which will see over 300 homes built. Our significant expertise in selecting suitable land for redevelopment, obtaining planning permission and delivering the final scheme alongside our imaginative approach was key in securing this collaboration agreement. “Staffordshire is an important area of development focus for us as we see high growth potential in the region.
