Scotland’s only listed housebuilder has posted an 85% increase in revenue for the first half of its financial year.
The AIM-listed Springfield Properties pulled in £162m for H1 2023, up from £87m for H1 last year. The rise was driven by an increase in private house sales and land sales, while affordable housing revenue dipped.
However, the acquisition of rivals Tulloch Homes and Mactaggart & Mickel continued to squash pretax profit, which fell by 5% to £5.9m.
