Last month EG revealed that TikTok is in talks to take temporary office space in the 149,000 sq ft building while its new UK headquarters are finished.
The social media giant is lining up a deal for up to 30,000 sq ft across four floors in Hylo, EG understands. It plans to occupy the space on a five-year lease while it waits to move into Topland Group and Beltane Asset Management’s Verdant development in Farringdon, according to market sources. The development is not expected to be complete until autumn 2024.
Leasing agents for Hylo were Cushman & Wakefield, BNP Paribas Real Estate and Compton.
