Get your head down to help the homeless
Can you brave one night sleeping outside to help prevent young people from facing the same prospect every night?
Throughout February LandAid is holding a series of SleepOuts in three UK cities – Birmingham (06/02), Bristol (13/02), and London (27/02) – in a bid to raise £400,000 towards its mission to end youth homelessness.
The property charity invests more than £2m every year in grant-funded projects and, through its pro bono programme, provides strategic advice and property expertise to organisations delivering projects to support vulnerable young people.
One night sleeping out in the elements is not going to replicate the daily plight of homelessness in the UK, but you will be raising awareness and money for the cause.
The event is sponsored by Hammerson and Knight Frank, with regional sponsors including Fiera Real Estate in London and TFT in Bristol.
