Sirius recycles capital to buy in Liverpool and Barnsley

Sirius Real Estate has bought two mixed-use industrial assets in Liverpool and Barnsley for £9.5m.

The deal for the 72,000 sq ft of space, bought through its subsidiary BizSpace, reflects a 9.6% net initial yield.

Chief executive Andrew Coombs said: “It is pleasing to see the execution of our asset recycling strategy, by being able to redeploy capital from assets that were sold at a premium to book value into immediately income-enhancing acquisitions that can benefit substantially from future asset management initiatives.”
