Sigma and Countryside map out next North West schemes

Sigma Capital Group and Countryside have revealed plans for a further 1,300 homes across three sites in the North West. The two companies, which have worked together for several years, expect to deliver 402 homes for private rent, 649 for open market sale and 297 as affordable housing across Millbank Lock in Manchester, Brookfield Vale in Blackburn and Rivers Edge in Warrington. The PRS homes will be delivered via Sigma’s Simple Life brand. Millbank Lock is a £15.8m development next to the Manchester Ship Canal in the town of Partington. Brookfield Vale is a £20m development, while the £23.7m Rivers Edge scheme will regenerate a former industrial site close to Warrington Bank Quay, the town centre and Stockton Heath.
