Shelter from the Storm seeking a new place to call home

London-based homelessness charity Shelter from the Storm is looking for new premises.

Established 2007 in response to the increasing levels of homelessness and destitution on the capital’s streets, it offers a free bed, dinner and breakfast for 43 homeless people every day.

After more than six years in King’s Cross, its lease is coming to an end and the charity is looking for an area of at least 3,000 sq ft in north London, ideally in Islington, Hackney, Camden or Haringey. It would consider any type of space – including land – and would pay a market rate.
