Semiconductor maker doubles up at Cambridge Science Park
Pragmatic Semiconductor has expanded at Cambridge Science Park after securing £182m as part of the first close of its series D funding round.
The firm has agreed a lease on an additional 12,500 sq ft facility, doubling its workspace at Building 400 to 25,000 sq ft.
The 10-year deal was signed with Trinity College, with market sources indicating a rent in the mid-£30s per sq ft.

Cambridge Science Park spans 152 acres and is home to more than 170 companies, ranging from start-ups to mature technology giants, including Amgen, Beko, Citrix, Frontier, Roku and Toshiba.
The latest phase of development on the park, completed in 2019, saw the delivery of 360,000 sq ft of office buildings and a 40,000 sq ft Bio Innovation Centre alongside upgrades to the public realm, landscaping and transport infrastructure.
