Seel secures £1.7m at lastest auction

Cardiff auctioneers Seel & Co raised £1.7m at its 21 October auction at The Park Inn hotel, Cardiff. It sold 23 of 31 lots, a 75% success rate, which pushed its yearly average success rate to 87%. Totals are now £2m up on the same period last year. “This is driven by low interest rates, improved fluidity of the banks and the buzz of the London markets,” said auctioneer Matthew Tyler. amber.rolt@estatesgazette.com
