A more unusual property being offered for sale in partnership with Hannells is a three-bedroom house in Derby which, according to the vendor, was built using four railway carriages (lot 4). Set on a deep plot and with a guide price of £95,000-plus, the property has redevelopment potential, subject to planning consents being obtained.
Another property in need of renovation is a three-bedroom detached period house in Leicester (lot 36, pictured), which is being offered for sale in partnership with Carlton Estates. It has good-sized rooms and a guide price of £225,000-plus.
A more ready-to-go investment opportunity is available in Birmingham (lot 62), which currently produces £38,000 pa and has a guide price of £290,000-plus.
