Sciontec signs 12 tenants at innovation hubs in Liverpool
Sciontec Developments has secured a dozen new tenants for its suite of innovation centres in Liverpool city centre.
The deals span Liverpool Science Park (pictured) and Sciontec’s flexible, all-inclusive AI workspace in the Spine, Liverpool City Council’s 160,000 sq ft development at Paddington Village.
The largest deal has seen Civic Health Innovation Labs, a new University of Liverpool research centre, take 5,500 sq ft at Liverpool Science Park on a 10-year term.

The largest deal has seen Civic Health Innovation Labs, a new University of Liverpool research centre, take 5,500 sq ft at Liverpool Science Park on a 10-year term.
Quantexa, Culloma Technologies, Attaro, North West Cancer Research, the Tutor Trust, MF Architecture and InsideUni have also taken space at Liverpool Science Park. The park, consisting of 120,000 sq ft of office and lab space across two buildings, is currently home to more than 75 businesses.
Companies taking space at Sciontec AI include the UK National Measurement Laboratory, the Bloom Appeal: Merseyside Against Blood Cancers and Univa.
A number of Sciontec’s existing occupiers have increased their space. LYVA Labs agreed a three-year deal to move into a larger private office with space for up to 20 desks in December 2023.
The Pandemic Institute has doubled its capacity at the Spine, while MyCardium AI has expanded its workspace at Liverpool Science Park by nearly 60%.
