Savills join Cushman as joint agent for former ITV Studios

Mitsubishi Estates and Co-Re have appointed Savills as leasing agents for their redevelopment of the former ITV studios at 72 Upper Ground, SE1. Savills will join Cushman & Wakefield, which had already been appointed to lease space in the development. Together the two will work to lease the roughly 570,000 sq ft of office space which the development will deliver, with completion targeted in 2019. Stuart Lawson, a director in Savills City agency team, said: “The very constrained development pipeline is well documented, and this is the only scheme of scale for completion in the central London market in 2029 that has commenced on site. Accordingly, we anticipate strong demand from major occupiers seeking an outstanding new HQ building.”
