Savills buys Channel Islands firm
Savills UK has bought Montagu Evans Channel Islands Limited, a separate company to Montagu Evans LLP, which will be the firm’s first presence in Guernsey.
The company will combine with Savills’ existing residential offer in Jersey to provide a full real estate service across the Channel Islands.
Montagu Evans Channel Islands will change its name to Savills Channel Islands with immediate effect.

Established in 2010, Montagu Evans Channel Islands is based in St Peter Port and provides services including commercial property management, lease consultancy, valuations, planning, investment and agency.
The firm currently manages over 1m sq ft of predominantly grade-A office space, as well as other commercial accommodation across the Channel Islands.
Clients include the Channel Island Property Fund, Brockton Capital, Credit Suisse Trustees, Dandara, Royal Bank of Scotland International, HSBC, Lloyds and Royal Bank of Canada.
A team of nine will join Savills, led by managing director Tony Rowbotham.
Savills’ five-strong Jersey office was established in 2007 and is currently the only residential agent on the island with a global profile. The team offer a residential service with a focus on sales.
