Santander takes space at Manchester’s Landmark

Santander UK will be moving into Barings’ Landmark office development in Manchester. The bank has signed an 11-year lease for a 14,012 sq ft work space located on the eighth floor of the building. The deal follows the recent letting of the thirteenth floor to Xero UK and the ninth floor to RSM UK. Landmark other tenants include HSBC UK, Allianz Insurance, Grant Thornton, JLL and social enterprise Change Please within the building. Barings managing director of UK asset management Ian Mayhew said: “We have strong interest in the remaining last floors and look forward to making further announcements in due course.” Landmark is a 180,000 sq ft development offering 14 floors of BREEAM Excellent and WiredScore Platinum-certified office space.
