Sandelson and Meager co-founded Westbourne Capital Partners at the start of 2017 and have together transacted on deals worth more than £3,5bn GDV in the past five years.
Auriens has four sites in London with around 400 flats at various stages of development and backing from Goldman Sachs. Its first development, Auriens Chelsea, is due to open during next summer.
Sandelson said: “Auriens will always remain close to my heart, and I very much look forward to moving into the building if I’m lucky enough to reach the golden age.
“I wish David, Zenprop, and all the dedicated and loyal employees every success in fulfilling the Auriens vision to deliver a building with best-in-class hospitality and care for this London-based demographic.”
David Meagher said: “Johnny has had a major impact on shaping Auriens. His entrepreneurial flair, passion and vision helped Auriens secure its first project, and lay firm foundations for the next stage of the company’s growth.”
