Runway East lands at Bath’s Kings Court

Flex operator Runway East has agreed a lease at Abrdn’s Kings Court on Parsonage Lane in Bath, in a continued expansion of the company’s footprint in the South West. Runway East will take 23,000 sq ft on a 20-year lease in the Grade II listed building. It is the company’s second flex hub created in partnership with Abrdn, following the creation of the 45,000 sq ft Runway East Bloomsbury at 24-28 Bloomsbury Way, WC1. The site will open in the spring, with desks priced from £385 + VAT per month. “It seems that we are collecting all the cities beginning with B! Bath joins Brighton, Birmingham and Bristol, in addition to our sites in London,” said Natasha Guerra, chief executive of Runway East. She added: “We are also thrilled that Abrdn have chosen us to partner with them on a second site – we pride ourselves on delivering for our landlords.” The location will also be the company’s third in the South West, bolstering a footprint that has already made it Bristol’s largest operator of flexible workspace. Since its establishment in 2014, Runway East has grown to 13 locations across London, Birmingham, Brighton and Bristol, with tenants including Deliveroo, Dojo and Grind on its books.
