RICS has formally appointed Hongkong Land director and head of development Clement Lau as its president, two months before his tenure was set to begin.
Also, officially joining the embattled organisation’s presidential team is president-elect Ann Gray, who is chief executive of Gray Real Estate Advisors and based in California, and senior vice president Tina Paillet, who is also an ambassador for the World Green Building Council’s building life campaign.
The trio have taken up their roles in the same month as a spate of leadership departures, following Alison Levitt QC’s damning external report into a corporate governance row at RICS.
