Regus brings flex offices to Liverpool Innovation Park
IWG, which operates the Regus, HQ, Signature and Spaces brands, has further expanded in Liverpool by adding a fifth centre to its portfolio in the city.
The company will operate 9,500 sq ft of flexible workspace at Liverpool Innovation Park, a 22-acre, 398,000 sq ft business park in Edge Lane owned by the Homes and Communities Agency. CBRE is the agent and asset manager.
The scheme sits in the heart of the city’s science and technology cluster and is surrounded by landscaped grounds and other amenities including an on-site gym, wine-bar and café.

IWG currently has four Regus centres in Liverpool – the Tea Factory, Horton House, Derby Square and 1 Mann Island.
Clare Tierney, global enterprise director at IWG, said: “This new partnership will expand our presence further out of the city centre, adding more options for our customers.”
The move comes as IWG continues to sign partnership agreements with building owners in the UK and around the world, turning empty building space into flexible workspaces.
Most recently, the firm had opened three flexible offices across south London by partnering with local workspace operator HomeWork Workspace. Adding to IWG’s portfolio were facilities in Wandsworth, Southfields and Fulham, spanning private offices, meeting rooms, co-working, creative spaces and coffee shops, with Southfields site also offering an in-house fitness studio Sweat19.
During 2023, IWG added 867 locations to its global network, almost doubling the number of new locations, totalling 462, in the previous year. IWG now has 4,000 locations in more than 120 countries.
Over 95% of new locations are being delivered via managed partnership agreements and sit in the suburbs, smaller commuter towns and cities, with populations as small as 5,000-10,000, such as Castle Donington, Evesham and Kettering in the UK, as well as Destin, Willimantic and Stafford in the US.
