Savills has topped Radius Data Exchange’s Manchester agents league table for the second year running after a healthy upswing of 40,000 sq ft of transacted space saw it more than double its lead over the chasing pack.
Radius Data Exchange figures reveal Savills was one of only three agents to dispose of more space this year than last. Despite this, overall conditions in the North’s premier office market are in rude health, with more than 1.8m sq ft transacted in a record-breaking 12 months.
Co-working space took centre stage, with three of the year’s 10 largest deals. Savills acted on all three: 120,000 sq ft to Spaces at 125 Deansgate, where it acted jointly with Knight Frank; and two deals to WeWork, which took more than 50,000 sq ft at Hyphen and 65,000 sq ft at Dalton Place, where the joint agent was OBI.
