Q1 office take-up in Leeds eases

Office take-up in Leeds fell during the first quarter of the year, figures from the Leeds Office Agents’ Forum show. Workspace take-up during the period totalled 228,897 sq ft.

In the city centre, 123,463 sq ft of office space was taken across 32 deals, a decline of 27% year-on-year. The largest city centre deal was to HG Construction, which has leased 14,126 sq at Belgrave Hall.

Leeds out-of-town market, meanwhile, transacted a total of 105,434 sq ft of office space across 31 deals. The largest deal was to Williams Lea at Leeds Valley Park (pictured), which took 16,617 sq ft.
