Property millionaire Nicholas van Hoogstraten has been fined £1,500 at Hove crown court for calling a barrister ” a dirty bastard”.
He made the attack on Graham Campbell last year when he was defending a writ from tenants who claimed he had stopped them buying the freeholds to their homes on his East Sussex estate.
The man, who has a fortune of more than £200m, called the fine extortionate.
