Prince’s plan to end homelessness

Prince William’s plan to end homelessness “for good” has attracted star supporters and detractors.

His Royal Foundation has selected six locations across the UK to be the focus for Homewards, a £3m scheme aimed at making sure homelessness is “rare, brief and unrepeated”.

He has been supported by homeless charities Centrepoint, Crisis, The Big Issue and The Passage, who said in a joint letter that the prince’s involvement was “crucial” if “we want to truly end homelessness”.
