Poundland plans 25 new stores

Poundland plans to open 25 more stores as inflation hits household finances.

The low-cost retailer, owned by Warsaw-listed Pepco, already has 850 shops in the UK and Ireland.

It said it wants store on high streets, retail parks and more akin to its pilot “local neighbourhood stores”. Up to 15 new shops and relocations are in the pipeline between October and December.
