Portsmouth Hospitals University NHS Trust has found a new home at Lakeside North Harbour’s flexible working space.
The trust’s administrative staff will occupy 24,500 sq ft on a 10-year lease in a move to free up space for increasing clinical capacity at its existing hub at Queen Alexandra Hospital.
Simon Bateman, asset manager at Lakeside North Harbour, said: “We have supported PHU with this relocation, building on our relationship between the council and the NHS, to help better the local community and its needs.”
Lakeside is a 130-acre business campus located next to a 13-acre lake with woodland and outdoor space. The scheme comprises five buildings offering office suites from 1,000 sq ft to 70,000 sq ft and featuring art exhibitions, meeting rooms, a 250-seater auditorium, a business lounge, and a winter garden and courtyard. The onsite amenities also include a florist, hairdresser, beauty salon, hotel with a fully equipped spa and gym, and five cafes and shops.
The campus is a home to a variety of international and local companies, including Babcock, Lead Forensics, Markerstudy, Virgin Media and Handelsbanken.
LSH and Vail Williams are joint letting agents. Avison Young manages the campus on behalf of the landlord, Portsmouth City Council.
