PizzaExpress has another 25 sites in the pipeline. Most will open by June 30. Chief executive David Page said there was room for up to 300 nationally. It doesn’t have a presence in cities as large as Cardiff and Sheffield, and only has single outlets in Manchester and Scotland.
Half-year pre-tax profits rose from £4.15m to £6.28m on sales up from £19.5m to £30.6m.
