Pitmore hires BTR heavyweights for Goldman Sachs-backed ventures
Residential developer Pitmore has hired two build-to-rent experts to drive its rental strategies, including major ventures with Goldman Sachs.
It has appointed Peter Wyatt (pictured, above left), former head of BTR at Knight Frank, as PRS director. He joins Tony Haran (pictured, above right), who was CBRE’s residential capital markets director, and joined Pitmore as acquisitions director late last year.
The pair have more than 30 years of experience in residential investment between them, with a specific focus on the burgeoning BTR sector in recent years.

Wyatt previously founded his own Leicester-based agency, Fothergill Wyatt, and closed more than £1bn in deals at Knight Frank. Haran has worked in the residential sector since 2003 and overseen the development of more than 2,500 homes in roles at CBRE and Knight Frank.
Pitmore is an operating partner, managing developments from planning to delivery through a number of tie-ups with Goldman Sachs.
It teamed up with the merchant banking arm to buy the 918-home Thistle portfolio in a £150m deal that completed at the start of the year.
Pitmore is also the development manager for Kitchener Barracks, a scheme from Goldman Sachs-backed modular manufacturer TopHat.
Other projects include the acquisition and development of 1,000 acres of Northamptonshire strategic land with funding from Homes England, promoting garden villages and advising deals for family offices.
The business was established in 2012 by Vittorio Davico, when he led two acquisitions of more than 500 homes for private equity funds. It has since grown to more than £500m in transactions.
