Philip Arnold sale result hits 18-month high
Phillip Arnold auctions recorded its best result for almost 18 months at its most recent sale.
The firm raised £5.2m – the highest amount since an auction in April last year when the total was £7.1m. The success rate was 83%.
Of 17 lots offered at 15 September sale, 14 sold with 11 in the room and two prior.

A detached house in Hampstead, NW3, was sold on behalf of receivers for £891,000, and an unmodernised semi-detached house in Acton, W3, was purchased for £659,000.
An end-of-terrace house in Kingsbury, NW9, sold for £467,000, and a ground floor flat in Brentford, Middlesex, was bought for £235,500.
The sale was held at the DoubleTree By Hilton hotel, W5.
