Phase three at the 25-acre scheme in Manchester will provide 189 new homes, of which 176 will be a mix of one to three-bedroom apartments in two buildings rising to 10 and 12 storeys.
The remaining 13 homes will comprise three-storey townhouses with either three or four bedrooms.
This phase will also create 5,150 sq ft of ground floor commercial or retail space and 4,970 sq ft of offices, as well as 61 parking spaces and 40 bicycle spaces.
It is expected that construction will start on the third phase early next year with completion slated for late 2022.
Once completed, Middlewood Locks will have delivered 2,215 new homes and 900,000 sq ft of commercial space and have a gross development value of more than £700m.
Paul Kelly, development director at Scarborough, said: “This development is providing much-needed homes in the city with fantastic doorstep amenity that remains in high demand. It also provides high-quality commercial and office space that will compliment and add to the existing offer at Middlewood Locks.”
