Persimmon hires National Express boss
Persimmon has hired National Express boss Dean Finch as its new chief executive, replacing David Jenkinson in the role.
Finch will take up his new post and join the board at the end of the year.
He has been the chief executive of National Express since 2010. Before that, he was group chief executive of Tube Lines, and held a number of roles including group chief operating officer at First Group.

Finch said: “Persimmon is a strong business operating in a sector that has a critical role to play for both the people and the economy of the UK as we emerge from the profound disruption of Covid-19.”
As group chief executive, Finch will receive an annual base salary of £725,000 and a pension allowance of 9% of salary in line with the contribution available for salaried employees.
