Persimmon hires new CFO after ‘excellent’ year

Jason Windsor has been appointed as Persimmon’s chief financial officer, as completions, revenue and forward sales rise.

In a trading update posted this morning, the housebuilder said revenue for 2021 would be £3.61bn, equalling its pre-pandemic performance and up from last year’s £3.33bn.

Persimmon said it had delivered 14,551 new homes over the year, above its 2020 level of 13,575. It anticipated underlying operating margin for the year to be around 28%.
