Peppa Pig may have been banned by the Chinese video site Douyin as a malign influence on the young, but that hasn’t deterred plans for a themed visitor attraction in Shanghai.
Merlin Entertainments yesterday revealed that the city’s LC Mall would house the world’s first Peppa Pig World of Play.
The standalone indoor attraction, opening this year, will be the first of five Peppa Pig attractions to be developed under a licensing agreement with Entertainment One, which owns the character.
