People moves: Savills hires cross-border tenant advisory director

Appointments and promotions Rebecca Webb (pictured, left) has joined Savills as a director in its global occupier solutions division, based in London, where she will manage its Europe and Middle East crossborder tenant advising team. Knight Frank has appointed Hannah Awonuga (pictured, centre) as group head of diversity, equity and inclusion to strengthen its DE&I programmes. She joins from Barclays Bank. Sabine Jones (pictured, right) has joined Europa’s asset management team as a director to support its client assets across Europe. Ardent has recruited Tom Hacker to head up its new planning and engagement team as a senior director for major infrastructure and regeneration schemes. Andrew Edwards has joined law firm Stevens & Bolton as a partner in its commercial real estate practice. He moves from DWF. Retirement built to rent operator Birchgrove has appointed Marcus Hodges as its chief operations officer and Raphaël Koifman as chief financial officer. Occupier experience platform Locale has promoted Rob Maxwell to director of strategy and growth. He joined the business in 2018. CBRE has hired Jeremy Eddy as head of living capital markets for Europe. Hannah Blunstone has been appointed as director for its Northern business in the planning and development team. In its Scotland business, Caroline Smillie has been promoted to senior director in the occupier accounts team; Iona Lord to director in the retail team; Fiona Irving to director in the property management team; Eilidh MacVicar to senior surveyor in the operational real estate team; and Angela Lowe to head of offices in the advisory and transactions team. Bruce Gillingham Pollard has appointed Ollie Wilkinson to its investment team as an associate. He joins from Knight Frank’s capital advisory division. The Association of Real Estate Funds has appointed Lisa Sherriffs, Andrew Grigson, Tom Pinnell and Alistair Dryer to its board as non-executive directors. Lovell Partnerships has appointed Mark Whittaker as head of construction, Ronnie Wake as a buyer, and Chris Hole as senior quantity surveyor in the North East region. Mace has appointed David Glennon as its group head of digital engineering. Build to rent operator VervLife has hired Neelam Saihjpal as director ofvoperations from Centrick. Katie Talbot joins as brand and marketing lead from Fresh Student Living. Nigel Whitehurst has joined Vail Williams as a partner in the Gatwick region. He comes from Gerald Eve’s commercial valuation team. DTRE has hired Sam Cooper as a senior surveyor at its Cambridge office. He joins from Bromwich Hardy. Residential developer Astir has added Percy Mullany as land director, John Lahiff as senior land manager, and Chris Chapman as a consultant in its London development team. Leaders Romans Group has promoted Karen Shepherd, George Cartwright and Natalie Springer to regional directors. Spicerhaart has appointed national operations director John Phillips and group managing director Antony Lark as joint chief executive officers. Angie Harding has joined Inspired Villages as operations director, where she will oversee operations in all eight of its retirement villages. Colliers’ project and building consultancy team has appointed George Cunningham as a director in the Birmingham office and Tom Clayton as an associate director in the Manchester office. In Glasgow, David Brown has joined the sustainability service department as an associate director. Citivale has appointed Alex Reynolds as development director. He joins from Tritax Symmetry. Adelle Okei has joined the Birmingham office of Carter Jonas as a surveyor. She previously worked at Avison Young. Catalyst has appointed Craig Stewart as head of estates and development. He will be based at the Titanic Quarter office in Northern Ireland. Gleeson Homes has appointed Steve McElroy in the new role of group sales director. He previously worked for Keepmoat Homes and Miller Homes. MGAC has hired Mike Millest as a critical environments director responsible for leading project management teams for international developments in London. He has previously held leadership roles at JLL and Epic Games. Savills has hired Stuart Jordan as its chief executive officer for central and eastern Europe. He will be responsible for bringing together its businesses in Poland and the Czech Republic.
