Appointments and promotions Savills boosts building and project consultancy team with the appointment of Hannah Halli (pictured, left) as a director in London. She specialises in development monitoring across core asset sectors, including residential, offices and hotels. Chris Yates (pictured, second left) has joined JLL as a director. He will lead the industrial and logistics team in the Bristol office. Yates joins from Cushman & Wakefield. Jones Hargreaves has established a new office in Glasgow, which will be overseen by senior associate Sammi Johnstone (pictured, second right). Daniel Little joins as an associate from Graham & Sibbald. Howard Group has hired Thomas Bewes (pictured, right) as asset manager. He joins from JLL, where he was part of the industrial and logistics agency team. London law firm Bishop & Sewell has promoted Charles Jamieson to senior associate in its litigation and dispute. resolution division and Nicole Couzens to associate solicitor in its residential property team. Thriving Investments has strengthened its board with the addition of nonexecutive directors Julie Hirigoyen, Phil Clark, Audrey Klein and Tim Saunders, who bring real estate, investment management, sustainability and impact investing experience to help the company meet its goal of delivering 20,000 homes over the next decade. Jonny Kiddle has joined Savills as a director in its development team. He joins from Osborne, where he was senior development manager. Kurtis Property has appointed George Trevitt as senior lettings manager, covering London and the home counties. Empiric Student Property has appointed Joanne Pollard to the newly created role of chief operating officer. She joins from Prime Student Living, where she worked as managing director for three years. At ESP, Pollard will maintain service delivery for residents across its portfolio. Tim Jones has joined Harris Lamb’s environmental consultancy team as a graduate ecologist. Colliers’ London office has appointed Joseph Mishon as head of flex and managed solutions. He joins from office rental agency Kitt to spearhead a new advisory and transactional offering for landlords and occupiers in London. Gemma Fancini has joined Woodstock Legal Services as a residential conveyancer consultant. Daniel Hohenthanner and Evert Castelein have joined Savills IM as co-heads of its European industrial and logistics business, overseeing management strategies and supporting the platform’s growth. Vail Williams has hired occupier advisory specialist Will Lawther as a partner to serve regional business demand. He will be based in the London office. Lawther joins from Turner Morum. The Urban Land Institute has appointed Jack Renteria, CEO of Living By Alfa, as chair of ULI Denmark. Marrons has expanded its East Midlands teams with the appointment of heritage director Hannah Hamilton-Rutter, planner Phoebe Conway and assistant planner Joe Ctori. Sarah Evans joins the Bristol team as an associate urban designer. Harris Associates has appointed Alex Matthews as head of build-to-rent. He will be responsible for securing funding, overseeing acquisitions, and strategically managing divestments in the BTR sector. Matthews previously held roles at Savills and Colliers and has directed financing and investment strategies of more than £3bn. Harrogate-based Artium Group has appointed Martin Watson and Joe McDermott to its construction subsidiary as managing director and director, respectively. They join from GMI Construction Group. Matt Blackmore-Squires has been recruited as head of occupier in JLL’s property and asset management group, supporting end-to-end customer experience. He most recently worked at Arcadis. Untold Living has appointed Ed Aldridge as planning director. The later living developer is targeting a £300m development pipeline. Aldridge joins from Castleoak Developments, where he spent a decade as a chartered surveyor.
